Bug found in SKU Variant Inventory and orders - Replicated on SC Test Server

Think I found a bug with the Variant Inventory and the SKU's. I had a customer today order 4 different products that have 4 different SKU numbers. Each product has a variant inventory SKU attached to it.

When ordering just one product everything works great. But if you add multiple items it doesn't save the correct part number to the order. The subsequent part items added to the cart use the variant part numbers from the first item.

I replicated this on my live site, my test site, and your test server as well.

Hi Brady,

I have been able to replicate this issue. The product variant inventory works however, if multiple variants are purchased, not all of the variant SKUs are saved with the order. I have sent this into programming and I will keep you posted with an update.
