We want ot use the subscription trial setup to have a user do 3 months for price A and then be billing monthly at Price B/month.  Reading the documentation and other posts, I am guessing that this is functionality that is not possible.  I am jsut looking for confirmation of that, and also if there might be anotehr way to accomplish this type of setup.  IN essence our client wants to do

Initial signup of $45 for 3 months, and then monthly billing of $15/mo after that start up time.

Hello,

The Trial subscription will use the same interval as the main product, the ability to charge a set amount then start recurring billing after a set amount of time has passed is not currently supported, although I do think it would be a useful feature. If you would like, I can move this feature request into our Enhancement Requests forum or if you would like to receive a quote to add this feature please send an email to sales@smith-consulting.com with a link to this forum post. We quote all features below cost since it is enhancing the product. In most cases we can start work with a week.

The documentation for 4.1 (the most current i could get), says that trial subscriptions are only supported with Authorize.Net.  Is this still the case, or is it possible to use trial subscriptions with other payment processing gateways (i.e. First Data).

Hello,

Currently in Smith Reg Pro v.4.22 Authorize.net is supported for recurring billing. If you would like to be provided with a quote to implement recurring billing for the First Data gateway please send an email with a link to this forum post to sales@smith-consulting.com.
