We recently bought the registration module and got it installed in our DNN 05.05.01 . However for some reason when we are trying to add the module to a Page , the module throws error. This is high priority for us. Please let us know , how this can be fixed. Please note the error is :

Thanks for sending the clean installation, As instructed by you. I tried installing the registration module out of our enviorments , in hosting provider server . The problem still persists. It breaks in godaddy server, Blues host server and PointClick server . As well it doesn’t work in both DNN 05.05.00 and 05.05.01 version . Do you have any resolution from this.

Hi ,

Thanks again for sending the latest version. I installed it I see Smith Manage Subscription and Smith Cancel Subscription modules get installed without any issues. However “Smith registration” module throws the same error. This is a payment registration module, and we are getting the same error. Is there any way you can tell us what can cause this issue. I am seeing this happens in the module which handles payment gateway . I guess installing different version is not going to solve the issue, if you can help us to understand in what scenario this module any cause this error will lead to the resolution.

Regards,

Siva

We've been getting the same exact error when some (but not all) of our test users hit a page with the registration module. I've been able to narrow it down - it seems to happen whenever a user's county is something other than the US. If a non-US user successfully registers via the smith registration module once, the next time they visit the page this error occurs. Since it also looks like it has to do with the module code related to a select box, I would presume that the needed fix has to do with making sure the country select isn't trying to add a "selected" attribute to more than one country. Let us know if you find the fix for this please!

The current version of the Payment Registration Pro module is 3.31. What version of the module are you trying to install?

Hi, I have DNN 5.5.1 Professional on my own servers and I have the exact same issues, I have tried a clean install with the 3.31 but the issue continues. The install also seems to be an invalid DNN 5 install package but DNN gives you the option to continue.

I want to buy this module and the smith cart but I'm not going to unless they fix it. I email support and they told be to buy a support package and then they would look at it, NOT acceptable. They also told me that no one else had the issues, obviously this thread says otherwise.

Someone help!!!!

Hi,

We had the same error with the registration module, but that was after I processed the payment through Eway Testing Gateway. The website is running under DNN 5.6.

Cheers,

Cassie

Hi,

We lodged a support ticket as well in regards to this error, but haven't got any response back. Here is the message again:

------- Begin of Message -------------------------

Hi,

We've recently installed the trial version of Smith Payment Registration Pro module onto a DNN 5.6 website. It was all working fine initially when I added the module to the page, however after processed the first payment through Eway testing environment and navigate back to the page, it throws the following error: http://screencast.com/t/oeSh5Qzx

We had the same error on a DNN 5.5.1 website before as well.

Any idea why this is happening?

Kind Regards,

Cassie

-----------End of Message -------------------------------------

We appreciate your help on this.

Thanks,

Cassie

We have tested this but have not been able to reproduce the error in our environment. We offer 3 support packages here https://www.smith-consulting.com/forums/support.aspx and our programming rate for customizations is $85/hr. I will have one of our support techs email you tomorrow and see if we can setup a conference call to discuss.
