I am considering this module and was wondering if anything is on the roadmap to support offline payments. I have customers that would prefer to pay by mailing a check. So I would need a facility to manage the subscription once the check came in.

Thanks

If you go to the Buy Now module and then the Payment Gateway settings, select manual processing from the drop down of payment gateways, If you choose this option the module stores the customer, order and credit card information in the database and you can process the credit card transaction at a later time manually through your credit card terminal or virtual terminal. Then you go to payment methods and select check by mail.

This is reference to the subscription module. I think you are referring to the shopping cart??

Your right Christian was talking about the cart sorry for the confusion. Yes you can configure the registration module for offline payments or registration only.

The following are two options for configuring offline payments:

Option 1 - In the module settings if you enter a zero price the checkout skips step 2 where the user enters their credit card information and the user is able to complete the registration without entering payment information.

Option 2 - In the next release of the payment registration module v3.32 we added a manual gateway option that allows the user to enter their credit card or check info but the module will not attempt to process it real time, the module will store the customer and payment information to the database and you will be able to process the credit card or eCheck at a later time.
