Hi,

I will acept the bank transfer payment.
After I validate that my client paid, I would like to change the order payment status.
I couldn't find where change it.

Could you help me, please?

Hello,

Which version of the Cart are you currently running?

You can change the Payment Status of your orders using the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Manage Orders screen by selecting the Manage Orders or Payment History icon from the Cart Admin Menu.
  2. Select the order you wish to change the Payment Status of to go to the Manage Order Detail screen.
  3. Choose the Billing Info Tab
  4. Change the Payment Status field to "Closed"
  5. Save the Order at the bottom of the page.

Hi, we are using the version 4.93.0.

Ok, thanks. I know this option, but the field is not a list box. I mean, it is a text field.....
I think it is not safe....
And I would like to change to paid, not closed.

Is there any way?

Hello,

After manually changing the Pay Status text for your order to "Paid", you could modify the ManageOrders.ascx file to add an additional Order Status of "Paid" and also modifying the ShipOrders.ascx file to add the same Pay Status so you will be able to sort by the Order Status. This will allow you to have the ability to change the Order Status to "Paid" to allow you to filter the Manage Orders screen by Order Status.

Hi Kevin, but the payment status field is a TEXT field.
I think it wasn't like that in the previews version, was?

As a text field we can fill with any information. I think it isn't very safe....

Could you verify this situation, please?

Hello,

The Payment Status which can be viewed in the textbox on the Manage Order Details screen will display the Pay Status which is returned from the Gateway. If you change it to "Paid" for example, there will be no negative effect and if you follow the instructions above, you will be able to filter by this new status on the Manage Orders screen by Order Status.
